Christian Neu, 53, studied business economics and graduated from Betriebswirt, he also did studies in Marketing at Saint-Gall.
Prior to joining Danone, he was a sales representative in Procter & Gamble, team leader for sales in Ferrero and regional sales manager for Linger.
He joined Groupe DANONE in 1986 as Sales Director at Danone Germany. In October1993, he was appointed General Manager for Danone Belgium and in 1998 General Manager of Danone Benelux. In 2001 he became General Manager for Danone Germany and for Northern Europe.
In 2005, he was appointed General Manager for Danone Japan, maintaining his position as head of Northern Europe.
Since January 2008, he is Executive Vice President Baby Food and member of the Executive Committee of Groupe DANONE.
